CMA World is hosting a DEI workshop on neurodivergence in CMA on September 14th at 3pm eastern on Zoom. Those interested in attending please register at tinyurl.com/deiprimers
In Crystal Meth Anonymous, we say that all are welcome—and that includes the many
different ways our minds work. This interactive workshop will explore what it means to
be neurodivergent—including experiences like ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other
differences in brain wiring—and how these can shape the way members engage in
recovery.
In this workshop, we will:
- Common myths and truths about neurodivergence
- How neurodivergent experiences may intersect with addiction and recovery
- Practical tools for making CMA meetings and service more accessible and
inclusive - Ways to support fellow members while honoring different communication and
processing styles
